Introduction to Stress Treatment

The Drake Institute is comprised of several different forms of treatment. Stress treatment is an important part of the practice for not only patients being treated for stress related disorders but for our ADD/ADHD patients as well. Stress related illnesses include, but are not limited to, panic disorders, anxiety, chronic pain, sleeping disorders, stuttering, tics, hypertension, gastrointestinal disorders, and migraine headaches. Many illnesses, including ADD / ADHD, cause a great deal of stress and anxiety in addition to tensions of everyday life. Stress treatment can be a very useful tool in helping our patients.
